It's no secret that Doc Rivers' future with the Philadelphia 76ers is in jeopardy. Many fans have scrutinized the head coach's inability to adjust in dire game-time situations.

However, even if the Sixers move on from Rivers, it doesn't sound like he'll be unemployed for long. Rumor has it that both the Los Angeles Lakers and the Utah Jazz are interested in the longtime NBA coach. Bleacher Report reported the teams' alleged interest Tuesday morning.

Similar to the Sixers and Rivers, the Lakers haven't been happy with Frank Vogel's recent leadership. The seemingly star-studded team is 31-47 and 11th in the West.

According to Bleacher Report, Rivers has been named by league personnel as a “potential Lakers candidate.” Meanwhile, the Sixers coach has also been mentioned as a possible replacement for Jazz coach Quin Snyder.

Nothing is a done deal yet, but don't be surprised if Rivers is employed elsewhere this offseason. Just last week, a rumor broke out that people within the Sixers organization are unhappy with Rivers' leadership.

Meanwhile, there is already speculation as to who Rivers' replacement in Philadelphia could be. According to Bleacher Report, the James Harden trade sparked “mounting speculation” regarding a “potential reunification with Harden’s former Rockets head coach Mike D’Antoni.”

The Sixers clinched a spot in the postseason tournament, and their playoff performance could completely change things. If Doc proves his leadership skills and mid-game flexibility in the playoffs, he could be sticking around in Philadelphia for a little longer.
