Tuesday, March 3, 2020, will be a night to forget for Philadelphia 76ers big man Norvel Pelle. The Sixers center missed two layups on national television against the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center.

It's one thing to miss two layups, but to do it in Los Angeles at a Lakers game while the whole country is watching just adds more injury to insult for Pelle.

Pelle is a 27-year-old rookie who was born in St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda. The Sixers signed him to a contract last August, only to waive him in October. Philly then signed him to a two-way deal in July of 2019 and then converted that into a regular contract on February 7, 2020.

Norvel Pelle entered Tuesday averaging 2.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 9.6 minutes per game for the Sixers, who are playing without Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and Josh Richardson.
