Manu Ginobili trolls former San Antonio Spurs teammate Tim Duncan, who is returning to San Antonio to become an assistant coach.

Duncan and Will Hardy were recently named to Gregg Popovich's coaching staff. Upon learning the news, Ginobili immediately reacted to the hiring. However, instead of congratulating Duncan, Manu focused on Hardy.

Ginobili certainly has a good sense of humor. Now, it's time to wait and see how Duncan will respond to this not-so-subtle jab at him.

According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, both Hardy and Duncan will have prominent roles and will be on the Spurs' bench during games. While some would assume that the Big Fundamental — largely considered as the greatest power forward in NBA history — would take on a player development role, that is simply not the case.

Duncan is unarguably the greatest player in Spurs history, and his addition will certainly benefit players like LaMarcus Aldridge, Jakob Poeltl and rookie big man Luka Samanic.

Duncan spent 19 seasons with the Spurs before retiring in 2016. Ginobili, on the other hand, called it a career two years later and retired in 2018. Now, Spurs fans are waiting if the two — along with Tony Parker — will reunite in San Antonio in a different capacity.
