Rumors have swirled around San Antonio Spurs center Jakob Poeltl, who has been drawing the interest of opposing teams. The Chicago Bulls have been one team to check in on the availability of Poeltl, and, according to the latest Spurs rumors, have even made a trade offer for the talented big man. Here's the Poeltl trade offer from the Bulls that the Spurs are rumored to have turned down, via NBA reporter Marc Stein.

The Spurs, league sources say, have rebuffed one Chicago offer for in-demand center Jakob Poeltl centered around a future first-round pick. As we’ve been reporting for weeks, Poeltl is among the most coveted centers in the league at a time numerous teams are pursuing them.

Per the latest Spurs rumors from Stein, San Antonio turned down a Jakob Poeltl trade with the Bulls involving a future first-round pick. Earlier rumors have also suggested the Spurs are seeking a “quality player” in return for Poeltl.

The Spurs' asking price makes sense, as the 26-year-old is in the midst of a strong season, with averages of 13.1 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while offering a solid presence on the defensive end of the floor.

There aren't too many big men like that out there, which is why the Spurs aren't being cheap in Jakob Poeltl trade talks, especially with the Bulls, who are in need of another big man.

It will be interesting to see what kind of return San Antonio does ultimately get if they decide to move Poeltl before Thursday's trade deadline.
