We just got an early candidate for one of the most ridiculous shots of the 2019-20 NBA regular season. A minute into the second quarter of the Oklahoma City Thunder versus San Antonio Spurs match at the AT&T Center on Thursday, Dejounte Murray found himself at the heart of the Thunder defense inside the shaded lane.

The 23-year-old point guard was unable to shake off Hamidou Diallo’s tight defense and got himself cornered when Darius Bazley also came over to help.

Without much room to operate, Murray simply threw a wild prayer as he fell down to floor, which surprisingly managed to find the bottom of the net.

Murray, meanwhile, missed all of last season for the Spurs after suffering a torn ACL. He looks to be slowly coming back to form this year, averaging 12.2 points on 49.1 percent shooting from the field, to go along with 8 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 1.8 steals in six games so far.
