Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Devlin Hodges and wide receiver James Washington have been building chemistry this year by going out hunting together. The two planned to go out this week in Western Pennsylvania to celebrate their victory against the Cleveland Browns, to hopefully bring back some animals, and to get closer as friends off the field.

Washington said he is the better shooter and Hodges is better calling in the birds, so each play to their strengths to have success hunting.

“I tell him I'm a better shooter than he is, so you call them in and I'll shoot 'em,” Washington said via NFL.com. “That's kind of how it works.”

All the hunting has paid off on the field with the two having an instant connection. Washington hauled in four receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown. The two's connection was a big reason the Steelers were able to come away with a victory and they will be key as they go down the stretch run of the season.

Washington was impressed with Hodges play, and how well he stayed composed even when things didn't go right early.

“Duck stayed calm the entire time,” Washington said, via the Associated Press. “You never saw him get uptight or anything. He held his composure as well as everyone else. Everyone kept working and I feel like that's why we were able to come out on top.”

The Steelers go on the road for their next game against the Arizona Cardinals, and it's a must-win game if they want to continue their run for the playoff.
