Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner has enjoyed this offseason with the team because there hasn't been any drama following them. Last season the talk was all about Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell and not really about the play on the field.

Conner has taken notice and is excited about this year's squad because they are a team that is just focused on playing football.

“We got a great vibe,” Conner said Wednesday on Good Morning Football. “We don't need no attention. We don't need nothing. We just going to go out there and play.”

This is a team that is priding themselves on being a team-first, instead of worrying about individual egos, which was an issue in the past. Conner said they also are going to focus on being the most physical football team each week.

“We're gonna try to be the most physical team on the field every game,” said Conner, a Pro Bowl selection last season who gained 1,470 yards from scrimmage in just 13 games. “Play for one another. Just play disciplined football. That's gonna take care of itself. We got talent over here. We're gonna put it all together and play for one another and we'll see what happens.”

Conner knows that there are new faces on this team, and each year people's roles change, but the goal is always the same, to win football games.

“Every year the goal and the agenda is the same and that's to win — win it all. Everybody here, that's what we talk about, that's why we work, that's why we go to practice every day.”

In the media, there seem to be mixed reviews about how they will do this year, but the confidence seems to be high inside the locker room.
