Through the first nine weeks of the season, the Pittsburgh Steelers have continued to play the waiting game with star running back Le'Veon Bell as he has continued his holdout.

However, it appears that Bell may be returning soon as he subtly hinted at that via social media on Monday afternoon.

Le'Veon Bell has been spending much of his time in Miami training during his holdout for the last few months that he has been away from the team. The decision to take to social media to state that he is leaving is a hint that he may be making his return soon to the team as there would be no need otherwise to post that he is leaving the area in any capacity.

There have been many different timetables set for Bell's return this season, but he has chosen to continue to stay away from the team. This has made it difficult to pinpoint when exactly he will be back in the fold if at all in the near future. The only indication at this point is that he has to report in the next couple of weeks in order to get credit for playing this year to keep his free agency open for next offseason.

The 26-year-old has stayed firmly on the path to keep that situation in place in order for him to field what he believes will be the best offer for him to secure a deal that he desires. There will be plenty of teams interested in his services if he reaches that point next March. In the meantime, the Steelers have been more than patient especially due to the play of second-year running back James Conner currently ranking second in the NFL with 706 rushing yards and nine touchdowns this season. It is just a matter of time before Bell will be back in the mix and provide another storyline to this saga.
