The Pittsburgh Steelers are potentially on their way to making a bit of NFL history. At 10-0, the Steelers are now just six games away from matching the New England Patriots' undefeated record from more than a decade ago.

The bookmakers have spoken, and they have given the Steelers some good odds at finishing this campaign unblemished:

Pittsburgh has moved past the halfway mark, and at this point, going undefeated throughout the season does not appear to be beyond them. The bookmakers seem to agree.

Back in 2007, the Tom Brady-led Patriots finished the season without a single defeat, but they eventually lost to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII.

It is also worth noting that as the tweet above states, the Steelers' pristine record might be in jeopardy on Thursday when they take on the Baltimore Ravens. While that Thanksgiving contest is still on as of writing, the Ravens are currently dealing with at least 10 members of the organization who have tested positive for COVID-19. Needless to say, there is a significant risk of the league postponing the matchup.

The fact that there is currently so much uncertainty surrounding the Thanksgiving contest has caused quite a problem for the Steelers' travel plans. They are waiting on news on the status of the matchup and are apparently planning on traveling to Baltimore on Thursday. This means that should the game push through, the Steelers will be taking the field just hours after flying to Baltimore.

It's just a one-hour flight from Pittsburgh to Baltimore, but once you factor everything else in, it wouldn't be surprising if Pittsburgh shows some fatigue should it take on the shorthanded Ravens on Thursday evening. It will be quite the battle if these teams do wind up suiting up.
