The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens have one of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL. Images of legends Troy Polamalu and Ray Lewis among many come to mind when one reminisces all the battles these teams have had.

The younger generation of Steelers and Ravens look keen to keep the rivalry alive. Baltimore cornerback Marcus Peters was in newly drafted, Pittsburgh running back Najee Harris' draft party, per Brian Batko of Post-Gazette Sports.

It was reported that Peters was talking to Harris during the entirety of the said party and reminding him that their teams meet twice a season. Apparently, this was going on even before the draft.

Usually, front offices do not telegraph their draft moves, but the selection of Harris at number 24 overall was one of the more obvious choices. The Steelers had an anemic run game last season and so it made too much sense not to pass on someone who was classified as the top in the position.

Harris has great size for the position at 6'1, 232 pounds and is more than just a runner. For someone listed as a running back, he has a developed route tree and reliable hands, which will make him a key cog in the passing game. Adding Harris will alleviate some pressure from aging quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

The poor performance of the Pittsburgh ground attack is not solely the running back's fault. As good as the offensive line is in pass protection, their work in running plays is suspect. There is plenty of draft left for the Steelers to address this.
