Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster popped up on the injury report on Thursday after injuring his groin in practice, according to Ryan Fittipaldo of the Pittsburgh-Post Gazette.

JuJu is very reliable and has not missed very much time out on the field since being drafted last season. The second-year receiver leads the team in receiving yards this season with 1,274 yards, and he has gained an unbelievable trust from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. JuJu has made big plays all season and has fantastic catching ability in traffic, which has provided a lot of insurance for Pittsburgh's offense this season.

If JuJu is held out of action, Antonio Brown and rookie James Washington will see added targets against a very vulnerable New Orleans secondary. Tight end Vance McDonald could also see added targets as well. The Steelers will likely be in a shootout with the Saints on Sunday as both teams have high-powered offenses and a suspect pass defense.

This game has a lot of high stakes for the Steelers as they look to gain some ground on the Baltimore Ravens, who are a half a game away from leading the division. The Steelers got a much-needed win last week against the New England Patriots, and JuJu made some great plays to assist Pittsburgh in doing so last Sunday.

If JuJu can't play on Sunday, it will be a huge hit to the offense who are already going to likely be without running back James Conner. The Steelers will definitely need their star receiver going forward.
