It seems every year there is someone saying that New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's career is coming to the end, and after Max Kellerman claimed that was the case, Stephen A. Smith was having none of it.

After the Patriots were blown out by the Tennessee Titans, Kellerman said on First Take that Brady has fallen off the cliff and it's only a matter of time before the Patriots are a bad team again. Kellerman said that Brady does sometimes still have good games, but to him falling off the cliff means he isn't one of the best in the league anymore and he has some struggles, and that's what has happened to Brady this year.

Smith was having none of that and went on to rip Kellerman saying that he should be ashamed of himself for even having such a bad take.

“This is Tom Brady, so what we do with Tom Brady is we recognize that as the season wanes, the New England Patriots tend to get a bit stronger,” Smith responded via 24/7 Sports. “The second half of the season, in particular. The fact that we’re talking about Tom Brady in this fashion is disrespectful. I think Max is doing it on purpose and you should be ashamed of yourself. You really should.”

Brady might not be the same quarterback as three or four years ago, but the stats really show that he isn't falling off much at all. Brady has thrown for 2,748 yards 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The Patriots are currently sitting with a 7-3 record and are in good shape for another run at the Super Bowl.
