As teams continue to wheel and deal ahead of the draft, more players are being included in potential packages they may offer to either dump some salary, or add big names to their roster.

One of them is the Phoenix Suns, who are reportedly attempting to find a taker for Eric Bledsoe and package him together with a young player or a draft pick.

The team currently owns the fourth overall pick on Thursday night and have been rumored to be shopping it in order to receive a star in return. Bledsoe may be a very talented player who has proven himself as a good scorer in the league, but his salary is not considered team-friendly, as he is still owed $29 million over the next two seasons.

This past campaign, the 27-year-old Kentucky product played very solidly for the Suns with averages of 21.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 1.4 steals per game. However, he was shut down by the team before the end of the regular season to allow their young players to gain more experience, which also signifies that they are already willing to part ways with him.

Should there be a team willing to take on his contract and make him their starting playmaker, it will be Bledsoe’s opportunity to once again showcase his ability to run a team, and prove that he is one of the better guards in the league today.
