Just days after carrying the Phoenix Suns to a playoff win, Chris Paul was MIA in Game 4 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

CP3 finished with just four points on the night with zero three-pointers and zero free throws, all of which were career playoff worsts for the Suns point guard.

The Pelicans deserve credit for making life a living nightmare for Chris Paul. They've used defensive dynamo Herbert Jones on CP3 and he's stuck with him like they were joined at the hip every time they matched up.

Spitfire guard Jose Alvarado always gave the Suns star fits in Game 4. He cause an eight second violation count and even sneaked up on Paul from behind for an emphatic steal late in the fourth quarter.

After erupting for 28 points in an expertly clutch performance in Game 3, Chris Paul was held scoreless in the game's final 42 minutes of action.

It's hard to imagine that Chris Paul would remain dormant once again when the Suns return to Phoenix. But it's clear that the team is missing Devin Booker badly as he nurses his hamstring injury.

The Pelicans have proven to be no pushover, with some serious star power in Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum and some poised role players surrounding them. Chris Paul needs to right the ship if they hope to stave off an upset.
