Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker's outlook for the next two games NBA playoffs is not looking very good.

As the Suns travel to face the New Orleans Pelicans in their first-round series, Booker is expected to miss those two games in the Big Easy, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. He suffered a hamstring injury in the third quarter of the Game 2 defeat to the Pelicans. Phoenix announced Wednesday a mild right hamstring straight but gave no timetable.

The three-time All-Star's absence is a big blow for the Suns, who head to New Orleans knotted at one game apiece in the best-of-seven series. Although the Suns still have an impressively deep team and are led by stars like Chris Paul, Mikal Bridges and Deandre Ayton, the Suns' record without Devin Booker has been noticeably worse:

The Suns have some solid scorers who will have to step up while their lead scorer recovers. Booker's tremendous scoring abilities will be very tough to replicate, especially when the series is moving away from Phoenix and to the home floor for CJ McCollum and Brandon Ingram.

Phoenix, which entered the playoffs with the most wins in the league, now has its backs against the wall. The Pelicans are a tough squad and will now have the benefit of home-court advantage.

As the Suns look to get back to the NBA Finals, they will have to overcome a stretch of challenging away games without Booker. They have shown that they can overcome absences to other stars besides Booker this season. Now, the biggest change awaits them as they look to finish what they started last season.
