Phoenix Suns rookie center Deandre Ayton is already making a positive impact on his team. A poster on Reddit showed statistics to prove that the Suns are way better with Ayton on the court. The stats show that, through the Suns' first five games, they have an offensive rating of 112.1 with their franchise big man on the floor. However, when he is on the bench, the Suns have an atrocious offensive rating of 84.8.

Through 5 games, the Suns have a 112.1 ORTG with DeAndre Ayton on the court (154 minutes) and a hilariously bad 84.8 ORTG without him (86 minutes).

Moreover, while the Suns still have a negative net rating of minus-4.0 with Ayton on the court, they are considerably much worse with him off, with a horrible minus-26.6 net rating.

The Suns started the season on the right foot by defeating the Dallas Mavericks, 121-100, in their home opener. However, they have been bad ever since, dropping four in a row. Phoenix lost by at least 18 points and gave up at least 117 points to their opponents in all of those losses.

Phoenix drafted the former Arizona Wildcat with the first overall pick in this year's draft to pair with budding superstar guard Devin Booker. Needless to say, the selection has been worth it for the Suns so far as Ayton has been a bright spot for the young squad.

Through five games, Ayton has showcased his rim-running ability, soft shooting touch, and great passing skills for a big man. He is currently averaging 17.8 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 4.0 assists while shooting an ultra-efficient 69.6 percent shooting from the field.

Ayton's efficiency was in full display in their 117-96 loss against the Memphis Grizzlies, where he shot 12-of-14 from the floor en route to 24 points and eight boards.

These growing pains are all expected for a team that is focused on developing their young studs in Booker and Ayton.
