Houston Texans starting cornerback Bradley Roby is likely to miss ‘at least three games' as a result of a significant hamstring injury, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. The injury was suffered during the team's Week 6 win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Texans starting cornerback Bradley Roby's hamstring injury is serious enough that he is expected to miss at least the remainder of this month, according to league sources not authorized to speak publicly.”

The cornerback position has recently been problematic for the Texans due to injuries to key players. In addition to Roby being sidelined, fellow starting cornerback Johnathan Joseph has dealt with a hamstring injury of his own since last week.

The Texans have been forced to turn to their bench for support at the cornerback spot in the wake of injuries to Roby and Joseph. They had to play Lonnie Johnson Jr. Phillip Gaines, and Keion Crossen at times against the Chiefs, all of which are rookies.

The latest status update regarding Joseph was that he is ‘hopeful' his hamstring injury won't keep him sidelined for long, per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle. Joseph also mentioned that ‘the plan' is for him to return to the lineup for their upcoming matchup with division rival Indianapolis Colts.

Roby was off to a strong start to the season for the Texans. They will have to make do without him while he remains sidelined by receiving a suitable impact from other members of their cornerback depth chart.
