Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Kenny Stills is now officially a member of the Houston Texans. Not only that, but the veteran wide out almost made quite a memorable impact in his Texans debut as Stills briefly caught the would-be game-winning touchdown pass in Monday evening's heartbreaking loss to the New Orleans Saints.
Nonetheless, Stills made a strong impression on the team's coaching staff despite playing a limited role due to the fact that he was just acquired via trade from the Dolphins. He will receive more of a workload going forward, though.

“He's a smart guy,” Texans head coach Bill O'Brien recently told The Houston Chronicle. “He came in and I think there was a lot of carry-over from what he had been doing in Miami, similar terminology especially with formations and personnel groupings and things, so he was able to pick right up and made some good plays. Obviously the touchdown was a huge play for us at the time. He's a smart guy, he did a good job.”

Still finished his Texans debut with three receptions for 37 yards and the aforementioned score while the former Dolphins pass catcher proved that he can quickly become a reliable weapon for up-and-coming quarterback Deshaun Watson.

“Stills just got here, so we just used him in certain packages, didn't try to overload him – although he can handle it,” O'Brien added. “I mean, he's a really smart guy. But no, there'll be more to come relative to all of those guys.”

The Texans are now 0-1 and will take on the rival Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2.
