The Houston Texans were one of the top teams in the AFC last season, but ended up getting bounced in the Wild Card round of the playoffs by the Indianapolis Colts. While that loss still stings, a new season has kicked off with the beginning of training camp.

Heading into training camp this year, there were some concerns surrounding the health of J.J. Watt and Will Fuller. Thankfully, those concerns were answered with great news to open camp.

According to a report from Pro Football Talk, both Watt and Fuller were able to participate in the Texans' practice.

Both players are going to be keys for the Texans on their respective sides of the field. Watt is the face of the franchise and one of the most lethal pass rushing threats in the entire NFL. Fuller, on the other hand, is a deep threat wide receiver who has had big-time success with Deshaun Watson when he has been healthy.

Fuller tore his ACL last season in the middle of a big year. He had been showing off the big-play ability that everyone has seen, but was also becoming a legitimate No. 2 receiver behind DeAndre Hopkins. The Texans can only hope that he gets back to playing at that level.

Houston will have their work cut out for them this season. The Colts got a lot better and the Jacksonville Jaguars improved as well. Even the Tennessee Titans got better.

Only time will tell, but the Texans are going to need these guys to stay healthy in order to compete in a stacked AFC.
