When Oakland Raiders receiver Antonio Brown decided to take a shot at JuJu Smith-Schuster on Twitter the other day, it didn't go as he planned. Brown called out Smith-Schuster for his critical fumble in a game against the Saints late last year, and he was widely criticized by fans and the media for what was seen as petty sniping.

Brown was responding to a Tweet about Smith-Schuster being named the Steelers' 2018 team MVP over him, and it wasn't a good look for him. Fans and journalists weren't the only ones responding however, as at least a couple of players called out Brown publicly. Texans safety Justin Reid was probably the most forceful, as you can see below:

Reid said that while he respects Brown's on-field ability, he “can't wait to smash” Brown. Fortunately for all of us, the Texans host the Raiders this season, so we should get the chance to see them square off. It'll be interesting to see whether Reid backs it up and is able to lay a big hit on Brown.

Fellow safety Eric Weddle of the Los Angeles Rams replied to Reid's tweet, saying that Brown showed his “true colors” and that he had “no respect” for the former Steelers star.

Brown is in the process of completing his heel turn, and Smith-Schuster looked like the much more mature one in the interaction. Everyone should have Texans vs. Raiders circled on their calendars next season.
