Lamar Miller is one of the NFL's best feature backs for a reason.

During the Indianapolis Colts and Houston Texans first-round matchup, Miller caught an easy dink and dunk check down pass from DeShaun Watson.

He then completely broke the ankles of a nearby linebacker and gained a first down with some excellent yards after the catch.

Miller is a seventh year NFL running back that has played four years with the Miami Dolphins and the past three with the Texans. He can be inconsistent with his ability as a red-zone target as a goal-line back or even as a receiving threat.

He does consistently average a little over four yards a carry for his career and often breaks for large runs due to his ability to slither out of tackles in the open field. Like any running back, after he breaks the first level he's extremely effective.

Through the 14 games he played for the Texans this season, Miller had 210 rushes for 973 yards and 5 rushing touchdowns. He averages 4.6 yards per carry and averages 69.5 yards per game on the ground.

The Texans on the season went 11-5 and won the AFC South Division. Second-year quarterback DeShaun Watson led a very high-scoring offense, averaging 25.1 points per game, which ranks 11th in the entire league. Their defense was nothing to scoff at either. They allowed only 19.8 points per game, which ranked 4th in the NFL.

The winner of the Colts and Texans contest will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs. They have a first-round bye.
