The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed guard P.J. Dozier to their last two-way deal available, according to the team via Erik Horne of The Oklahoman.

The University of South Carolina product averaged 10.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game through his two seasons with the Gamecocks.

Dozier will join Daniel Hamilton as the team's two-way players, who will spend most of the season with the franchise G League affiliate Oklahoma City Blue.

The new addition was seen wearing the iconic No. 35 around the practice facility, only a year after Kevin Durant's departure.

Dozier previously wore No. 35 with the Dallas Mavericks, asking the Thunder for it — request which they obviously obliged.

Standing at a near 6-foot-7 and 200 pounds with a 6-foot-11 wingspan, the SEC wonder will make his most immediate impact on the defensive end, getting on the end of passing lanes and contesting shots from the point guard and off-guard positions.

Dozier’s best assets are his defensive awareness and incredible athleticism, still a very rough offensive player despite his 13.9 points per game during his sophomore season with the Gamecocks.

The 20-year-old went undrafted this year and was once projected as a mid-first round pick after helping the South Carolina Gamecocks get to the Final Four, but after further review of his medical history, NBA teams shied away from selecting him, ultimately falling out of the draft board.
