The Oklahoma City Thunder welcomed the return of guard Alex Abrines with a 126-117 win over the Orlando Magic Tuesday night.

Abrines has been out of Thunder's line-up due to illness and personal reasons. He returned against the Magic and had three points in six minutes.

After the game, Russell Westbrook made it known that he's happy and excited to see Abrines back on the court.

Abrines is expected to get more minutes when the Thunder play the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday.

In 29 games he has played, the former second round pick has managed to put up 5.5 points on 36 percent shooting this season.

Meanwhile, Westbrook had another monster game against Orlando. The former NBA MVP put up 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists. Paul George, who was recently named as an All-Star starter, scored at will against the Magic, finishing with 37 points, while adding six boards and four assists.

The Thunder have now won six straight games, and they remain one of the best two-way teams in the West. OKC is currently third in the conference standings with a 31-18 record.

While everybody's talking about the Golden State Warriors' impressive month and Denver Nuggets' impressive season, OKC has quietly built themselves as a contender, despite starting the season with four straight losses.

Although the Thunder can struggle at times, they have shown that they can compete against any team in the league when they are playing at their best. They have two All-Stars leading the way in George and Westbrook, and a healthy OKC team can definitely do damage in the postseason.
