Anthony Edwards just reminded everyone why he was the first overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft. The Minnesota Timberwolves rookie went way up to put the Golden State Warriors‘ second overall pick James Wiseman on a poster.

Edwards showcased his athleticism as he took off from way out and murdered the rim with a one-handed flush. It is easily one of Edwards' best plays in his early NBA career with the Timberwolves (via Bleacher Report):

It was the first time the top-two lottery picks met in an NBA court, and it was definitely off to an exciting start. Anthony Edwards made sure he announced his arrival at the Chase Center with a bang, finishing the opening quarter with quite a play for the Timberwolves.

Wiseman had no choice but to move away as Edwards was already way too high for him to challenge.

The one-and-done Georgia product hasn't really done much in his NBA debut so far. Coming into their game against the Warriors, Edwards has just averaged 12.1 points in 24.6 minutes per game off the bench of head coach Ryan Saunders. The high-flying Timberwolves rookie hasn't really made a splash in his first 15 games, but plays like this should definitely excite  fans as they continue to wait for the rookie to blossom into the star they need him to be.

We see you, Ant-Man.
