Pretty soon, the NBA will be Anthony Edwards' playground. The young star of the Minnesota Timberwolves keeps on piling up milestone after milestone in his second season. Sophomore slump? Ain't nobody got time for that!

As the Timberwolves faced the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 3 of their first round series in the NBA Playoffs, Edwards set a new record for the most points scored by any player in his first three postseason games before the age of 21, according to NBA on ESPN. The guy he surpassed? Former Timberwolves star Stephon Marbury. The other three guys on the list are pretty good too.

The 20-year-old Edwards has definitely made huge strides after an impressive freshman campaign, which saw him narrowly lose to Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball for Rookie of the Year. This season, he's been making more smart decisions, particularly with his shot selection and making plays for his teammates.

In his NBA Playoffs debut, Edwards scored 36 points to power the Timberwolves to an upset win 1 over the Grizzlies in Game 1. That only proved further that he is more than ready for the big stage.

His trio with Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell has reenergized the Timberwolves, who were a perennial doormat in previous years.

Edwards' no-chill attitude has always endeared him to fans, and if he keeps climbing, we'll see him and the Timberwolves become heavy contenders in no time.
