Lonzo Ball's brother, LaMelo Ball, reacted to a vintage Derrick Rose game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night:

LaMelo Ball made the news this week as well, as it was announced that he will be going back to high school for his senior year and will be playing at Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio.

Derrick Rose, who signed a one-year deal with the Timberwolves over the summer, is playing his best basketball in years. He finished with 31 points, five assists and three rebounds in a tough 114-110 loss. He shot 11-of-17 from the field and hit a career-high seven 3-pointers, though he missed the potential game-winning triple in the final seconds.

Rose has taken the NBA by storm in the past week. He went for a career-high 50 points against the Utah Jazz on Halloween and now just set a personal best for 3-pointers. He did miss a game with an ankle injury, but that clearly didn't slow him down in Los Angeles.

Rose is shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 46.2 percent from 3. He has never shot over 34.0 percent from 3 in his career, so this is a huge jump. If he keeps these types of numbers up throughout the season, he could be up for consideration as one of the most improved players in the league.

LaMelo is right, it seems like the old Derrick Rose is back.
