The Minnesota Timberwolves absolutely blitzed the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 3 of their first-round series on Thursday night. Patrick Beverley was in the thick of the action and he made sure he let Ja Morant know what was up.

Beverley attacked the Grizzlies superstar early and often. The feisty Timberwolves guard also made sure to bust out the “too small” celebration on Morant:

The Timberwolves vet even waved off his teammates as he relentlessly attacked Morant's defense. Once again, Pat Bev hit the infamous celly on Morant:

Three times the charm, I guess? Beverley really wanted to send a message here and the Timberwolves guard had no problem messing with Morant:

Morant may be one of the most explosive players in the game, but Beverley is clearly trying to expose his shortcomings on defense here.

To be fair to Pat Bev and the Wolves, they hit Morant and Co. with a sledgehammer in the opening period. They started off the quarter on a 12-0 run and they did the exact same thing to end the period. Minnesota closed out their scorching hot opening quarter with a sizeable 18-point lead over the Grizzlies.
