With the Minnesota Timberwolves set to host the Portland Trail Blazers inside Target Center on Sunday, a group of fans was already inside the arena an hour before tip-off to watch some of the players in their pre-game warmups. However, they weren’t the only ones they were watching live as the jumbotron was also showing the NFC Divisional Round game between the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints.

Everyone inside the arena was nervous as their team was facing a one-point deficit, 24-23, with only nine seconds left in overtime. Case Keenum then threw a desperation heave to Stefon Diggs who somehow caught the ball and stayed on his feet which allowed him to score the game-winning touchdown. The crowd inside Target Center exploded with cheers as they couldn’t believe the miraculous play they just witnessed.

It then turned out to be a double celebration for Minnesota as the Wolves may have been inspired by the Vikings and blew out their opponents, 120-103. Jimmy Butler led their charge with 24 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Jeff Teague also had a huge game chipping in 22 points, one rebound and eight assists of his own to help the team win in convincing fashion.

The clip only goes to show how much the Minnesota faithful loves sports and are cheering for their pro football team despite not being in attendance at U.S. Bank Stadium. Next up for the Vikings are the Philadelphia Eagles and once again the whole state is expected to support them just like they did on Sunday.
