Tennessee Titans offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson was arrested on Friday night for DUI, according the Davidson County Sheriff's Office.

Prior to his arrest, Wilson reportedly “lost control of the car while doing ‘donuts' in the intersection, resulting in him hitting the concrete wall on the outbound side of Charlotte Avenue,” according to Scoop. The rookie tackle was released on a $1,000 bond on Saturday and has a court appearance scheduled for Oct. 7.

The Titans are also aware of the situation and have released a statement regarding Wilson's arrest.

“We are aware of the situation,” the Titans said in a statement, via Adam Schefter of ESPN. “This is not conduct that is indicative of the character of our football team and we are working through details on how to proceed.”

Nevertheless, Wilson does have a history of incidents involving the police. This past month, Wilson received a trespassing warning for attending a gathering at Tennessee State University. Furthermore, he nearly nearly jumped from a second-story balcony to get away from the campus police.

The Tennessee Titans selected Wilson with the 29th overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. They had high hopes of him solidifying their right tackle position; however, he has gotten off to a rocky start with his off-the-field issues. During training camp, he was placed on the COVID-19 reserve list. He came off the list a few weeks later, but was once again placed on the reserve list this past week. As of right now, it's unclear what discipline he'll face.

The Titans are slated to play their first game of the regular season on Monday against the Denver Broncos.
