The Tennessee Titans are still in play for the AFC's number-one seed, even after their Week 15 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Meanwhile, many fantasy football managers are preparing for a chance to win a championship in Week 16. Both parties could get a big boost after the recent update from NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Titans wide receiver AJ Brown ahead of the matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.

Per Ian Rapoport, Titans wide receiver AJ Brown, who recently had his 21-day window to return to the field opened after he was activated off of injured reserve, could be back on the field on Thursday night for Tennessee and his fantasy football managers, if all checks out at practice this week.

Rapoport added that Brown, who has been out since Week 11 with a chest injury, is looking good. This is positive news for a Titans team that could be without fellow wideout Julio Jones after the latter appeared to aggravate his hamstring injury last week against the Steelers.

AJ Brown's fantasy outlook also could be good for managers who have managed to make it to the fantasy championship game, as the talented wideout could see an increase in targets against the 49ers if Jones is forced to miss the game.

Even if Jones plays, he could be limited for the Titans, meaning more looks for Brown and his fantasy managers, anyway. San Francisco has allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game to wideouts, so the matchup is good, too.

The Titans would welcome Brown back with open arms to a depleted skill-position group. Brown, 24, has 615 receiving yards and three touchdowns despite only playing in 10 games this season.

The Titans and AJ Brown's fantasy football managers are happy after the recent update on the star wideout's health.
