Week 17 is probably one of the most important weeks for the Tennessee Titans this season as they're fighting to secure their spot in the playoffs. Thankfully, the return of Derrick Henry in practice is giving fans hope that they will be able to play their full-strength roster against the Houston Texans.

Henry missed the team's Week 16 defeat to the New Orleans Saints due to a hamstring injury, which was a huge loss considering his incredible production. His return to practice this early in the season suggests that he should be ready to play in a do-or-die game against the Texans for their right to participate in the playoffs.

With him returning to the team, the Titans should be close to fielding the best roster they have this coming Sunday. Fans can count on the coaching staff to drill their team to be in the best shape of their lives.

“We’re going to try to just prepare the best way that we know how,” Titans coach Mike Vrabel said of Tuesday’s session, via Titans' Jim Wyatt. “It’ll be scaled back (today). We played a short time ago. The player’s bodies aren’t used to practicing on Tuesday with a Sunday game. Again, I think it’s been great. I think the players have been focused already today in meetings, what we think that the keys are going to be and how they need to understand and execute the game plan.”

Henry has made his stamp as one of the best running backs in the league this season, notching 1329 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns in 14 starts. His presence should easily make the game more winnable for the Titans.
