The Athletic's Jeff Schultz said Thursday the Atlanta Falcons would like to trade Julio Jones, and he suggested the Tennessee Titans as a team with possible interest. While the Titans acquiring Jones would be tricky because of cap issues, star running back Derrick Henry would like to see them pull off a deal.

Henry took to Twitter with his excitement about the possibility:

The Falcons are in cap hell right now, and trading Jones is one of the few options available to get out of it. The 32-year-old is coming off a season in which he missed seven games, but he has been mostly durable throughout his career. He caught 51 passes for 771 yards and three scores in 2021, breaking a streak of six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.

Henry would love to see Jones added to a dynamic Titans offense. In addition to Henry's bulldozing on the ground, Tennessee already has a stud wide receiver in A.J. Brown. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill is coming off two strong seasons and would surely love to see Jones as another throwing target. Tennessee lost No. 2 wide receiver Corey Davis to the New York Jets but signed Josh Reynolds away from the Los Angeles Rams.

As noted, though, the Titans trading for Jones is tricky because of their own cap situation. We'll see if Tennessee tries to pull off some magic and get Henry another stud teammate to play with. If the Titans were able to pull this off, they would be a whole hell of a lot of fun to watch.
