Jadeveon Clowney is expected to sign with the Tennessee Titans. According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, the former Pro Bowl defensive end has made the decision to sign with Mike Vrabel's Titans.

Jadeveon Clowney had been a free agent for months, with suitors such as the Seattle Seahawks, New Orleans Saints and Jacksonville Jaguars making pitches over the months.

Clowney will try to lead a Titans team that was one game short of the Super Bowl last season.

Jadeveon Clowney had a down year in 2019. The three sacks he had were a career-low (not counting his 2014 rookie season when he only appeared in four games).

Despite that, there is still a major “game-changer” aspect to Jadeveon Clowney. He set new career-highs in forced fumbles (4), interceptions (1) and defensive touchdowns (2) last season.

One problem was that Jadeveon Clowney seemed set on a massive contract. Even with those big numbers, the low sack totals were likely giving teams pause. It appears the Titans felt like going all-in.

It is unclear what type of contract they are giving to the pass rusher, but it's hard to imagine Jadeveon Clowney settled for anything too low considering his demands.

This rejoins him with Mike Vrabel, who is now the head coach for the Titans. He spent three years with Jadeveon Clowney on the Houston Texans.

This bolsters an already dangerous Tennessee defense. No matter your feelings on Clowney, it's hard to deny he can change a defense and will certainly have the focus of NFL offensive coordinators.

Expect to see him make some big plays in 2020 and improve the defense around him.

It will be interesting to see how Clowney fits in Tennessee and what the Titans' plan is for him.
