It remains to be seen as to whether or not quarterback Ryan Tannehill returns to the Tennessee Titans next season. Traded from the Miami Dolphins to Tennessee prior to the start of the 2019 campaign, Tannehill ultimately became the team's starter en route to leading the Titans to an appearance in the AFC Championship Game.

Thanks to his success with the Titans ahead of becoming an unrestricted free agent this offseason, Tannehill still insists that he would like to return to Tennessee despite gearing up to test the open market.

“I like what we started there last year, the guys around the team, and I’d like to be back,” Tannehill recently said during an interview on SiriusXM NFL Radio. We’ll see what happens, obviously getting down to the last couple of weeks here. … A lot of conversations got to go on back and forth to kind of figure out where we’re at.”

After taking over under center while spelling former Titans starting quarterback Marcus Mariota, Tannehill helped get the team's offense moving in the right direction, a unit that featured a stout rushing attack behind superstar running back Derrick Henry. With the team's running back pairing nicely with its dominant defense, Tannehill provided the Titans with yet another option — a passing game.

A truly well-rounded team with Tannehill at the helm, the Titans will more than likely seriously consider bringing the longtime Dolphins signal-caller back this offseason. It is also worth noting that starting right tackle Jack Conklin, veteran cornerback Logan Ryan and the aforementioned Henry will all become free agents this offseason as well.
