Like most sports, golf also has its fair share of rivalries, but not quite the enmity that has developed between Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka. It started comically but has devolved into a manner in which Koepka's fans have resorted to heckling DeChambeau nonstop. DeChambeau, during an interview with NBC Sports just before the TOUR Championship, opens up about his beef with Koepka and the attitude fans of his rival have been showing him during events.

Via Justin Terranova of The New York Post:

“I can take heat, I’ve taken heat my whole entire life,” said the 27-year-old DeChambeau, who, outside of brief on-course interviews with the network covering the events, has been ducking the media for weeks.

“It’s because I am a little different. I understand that and I appreciate that. Whether you are Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, there’s always going to be heat. I understand that and respect that.”

To his credit, DeChambeau has been doing a fine job keeping his cool. Koepka's supporters have made it a habit to heckle DeChambeau with “Brooksie” chants, but that's something that could go away soon after the PGA TOUR announced that such actions could result in getting kicked out of a tournament.

The focus right now for DeChambeau is to win the 2021 TOUR Championship after falling short of scoring a victory at the BMW Championship, where he finished second to Patrick Cantlay.
