Ubisoft+, formerly known as UPLAY+, launched on the 3rd of September 2019 wherein the subscription allowed you to play a select few games by Ubisoft across multiple platforms such as PC and Amazon Luna.

As of this year, Ubisoft+ has expanded its availability in platforms, such as the expansion to Google Stadia. The subscription now gives players more options to choose from the Ubisoft game library, including new game releases, and a variety of major franchises such as Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed.

Does this mean players can play Far Cry 6 on Ubisoft+?

The short answer is yes. The slightly longer answer is that not only can you play Far Cry 6 with Ubisoft+, but you get to play Far Cry 6 Ultimate Edition as well. You can check out the full list of games here.

Far Cry 6 is the latest addition to the franchise which is expected to be released on October 10, 2021. Far Cry is known to have lots of fully customizable guns and unique improvised weapons, but we now have Supremos. These upgradable backpacks give “super” moves which you can use strategically in sticky situations. The game’s main protagonist, Dani Rojas, can be either male or female, and this time they are heavily involved in the plot and are finally fully voice-acted, unlike previous Far Cry games.

No doubt that Far Cry fans are really hyped up for this upcoming action-packed shooter. This makes things even better because as mentioned recently by Ubisoft, all Far Cry games will be available to play with the Ubisoft+ subscription. The statement during E3 2021 about “new game releases” also being available only confirms the speculation about Far Cry 6 being available to play for Ubisoft+ subscribers on the game's release date.  In fact, Far Cry 6 Ultimate Edition is listed on the Games List already.

If you’re going to ask us if the subscription is worth it? It totally is. Offering Far Cry, Assassin’s Creed, and hundreds of other Ubisoft titles for only $14.99 a month will make you want to subscribe to Ubisoft+ today.
