UFC legend Nate Diaz hasn't fought since last June when he lost to Leon Edwards, but he wants one more heavyweight clash before retiring. Who does Diaz want to fight? None else than the always lethal Dustin Poirier.

Diaz recently spoke to TMZ Sports and revealed that he's eyeing a bout with Poirier before hanging up the gloves for good:

“I would like to fight Dustin Poirier. Like now. Like I've been trying to. If there's any mix-up it's him, and them, and the game,” the UFC star said.

“I want the fight now. What's up Dana White? Let's get this retirement fight cracking so I can get out of this fight game. I'm done with it.”

Diaz also made sure to call out UFC President Dana White, who he believes isn't doing enough to make this a reality. Diaz has beaten some very daunting opponents throughout his MMA career, including Conor McGregor, Anthony Pettis, and Donald Cerrone. While Diaz has lost his last two fights, he believes Poirier wouldn't stand a chance:

“He ain't doing s*** to me. I'll tell ya that much,” Nate Diaz said.

It will be interesting to see if this ever happens. Poirer certainly needs a bounce-back fight after losing to Charles Oliviera just a few months ago at UFC 269, anyway.
