Henry Cejudo was very happy to announce that he was returning to the UFC and he was back in the USADA testing pool. Dana White was recently asked about it and he had a very interesting reaction.

The former two-weight UFC world champion retired abruptly back in 2020 after defending his bantamweight title against Dominick Cruz. He claimed there were issues with money and he wouldn't return until that was resolved.

Henry Cejudo started to have the itch to return and was big on fighting Alex Volkanovski for the UFC featherweight title. Dana White was always quick to shut it down and reminded everyone that he was retired.

Dana White recently spoke with TMZ and was asked about Henry Cejudo coming back and if he had any interest in working with him. The UFC president had a very interesting answer.

“No, Cejudo’s retired,” White said. “Cejudo’s retired, you know? Cejudo knows what he needs to do to get back in and get whatever. I mean, talking shit on Instagram does not get you fights.”

Getting back in the USADA testing pool is a great way to show that you're serious about coming back to the UFC. Athletes usually need a six-month period before coming back into the cage.

It has been said that the UFC was not happy with Henry Cejudo when he abruptly retired back in 2020 and the promotion would be hesitant to work with him again. It will have to be seen what happens with Dana White and the organization going forward.
