The legacy of FC Dallas starlet Ricardo Pepi continues to grow. Following a tremendous campaign, the striker has been named the 2021 MLS Young Player of the Year:

Pepi has burst onto the scene for both club and country, bagging 13 goals and supplying three assists for Dallas this term. For the USMNT, the 18-year-old has netted three times in World Cup Qualifying appearances.

Ricardo Pepi was easily the best player in Dallas, leading the side in goals. He became the youngest player in MLS history to score a hat-trick when he put on an absolute masterclass against the LA Galaxy in July. He also became just the second teenager ever to bag more than 10 goals in a single season. Pepi even starred in the MLS All-Star Game, netting the game-winning penalty.

The youngster is a hot commodity across the pond, with numerous European clubs eyeing his services. A host of English sides, such as Manchester United, Liverpool, Brighton, and Brentford are interested in signing the phenom. Wolfsburg in Germany is also keen.

At this rate, it's only a matter of time until Ricardo Pepi takes his talents to a bigger team. He's already proven himself in the MLS and evidently, the best is yet to come from Pepi.
