Chicago Bulls head coach Jim Boylen just learned first-hand the consequences of standing on the sideline during games instead of just sitting down in your coaching seat.

Thursday night against the Denver Nuggets in the Mile High City, Denver small forward Torrey Craig was trying to save an errant pass from Nuggets star big man Nikola Jokic from going out of bounds by jumping up in the air. He was successful, as Craig caught the ball in the air and passed it back into play.

However, while doing so, Torrey Craig ran into Jim Boylen on the Chicago sideline, sending the Bulls' coach tumbling to the ground:

Yes, it's been that type of year for the Bulls where the head coach isn't even safe from embarrassment. Hopefully, Jim Boylen is okay and didn't suffer any injuries on the play. That type of fall is not something a 53-year-old should be enduring.

Since taking over for Fred Hoiberg on Dec. 3, Jim Boylen and the Bulls are 5-15. Chicago entered Thursday on an eight-game losing streak and they don't have high odds of defeating the Nuggets on Thursday. Denver is in second place in the rugged Western Conference.

Maybe Jim Boylen will relax a little bit now and just take a seat instead of roaming the sidelines.
