Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook has been one of the best at his position in fantasy football when he's healthy and on the field. A Pro Bowler in each of the last three seasons, Cook has finished as a top-7 PPR running back in two of the last three campaigns. Already an elite halfback option, Cook's fantasy football value could take an even bigger leap in 2022 after his activity at offseason OTAs under new head coach Kevin O'Connell, as reported by Pro Football Talk.

Via Chad Graff of TheAthletic.com, Cook lined up in bunch receiver sets in multiple different formations.

Per Pro Football Talk and Chad Graff of The Athletic, Cook lined up at wide receiver in multiple different formations at Vikings OTAs this offseason. While it doesn't mean that the star halfback is going to play wide receiver this year, it does mean that the new regime could view his offensive role a bit differently.

Not only would more receiving duties be a massive fantasy football development for Cook, whose career-high in receptions is 53, but it could also potentially keep him healthy.

The Vikings star runner has yet to appear in a full season of games due to a slew of lower body injuries. If Cook handles more pass-catching reps and less between-the-tackles running, it could help to preserve his body over a full season.

It's still early in the offseason, but the Vikings have succeeded in exciting every fantasy football manager who was even thinking about selecting Dalvin Cook in drafts this fall.
