Justin Jefferson has done it all for the Minnesota Vikings this season. The second-year wide receiver has recorded more receiving yards than any player in their first two years in NFL history. His production is otherworldly and a huge part of the Vikings offense. He's asking for more out of the unit as a whole, though.

The Vikings lost to the Los Angeles Rams 30-23 in the midst of a playoff race. It was a brutal loss for Minnesota, who outgained Los Angeles but still couldn't secure the win. After the loss, Jefferson voiced his displeasure with Minnesota's play calling in the red zone and inability to take advantage of takeaways from the defense.

Jefferson is not the only playmaker Minnesota has. Running back Dalvin Cook is a Pro Bowler (though he was inactive today) and they have other reliable options like K.J. Osborne and Alexander Mattison. They have the talent to post points at will, which they did in the second half when they scored 20. Unfortunately, they did so playing catch-up, as Los Angeles led by 10 at halftime and for the entire game.

One of their main receiving threats, Adam Thielen, was dealing with an ankle issue coming into today's game and reaggravated it. His inability to contribute at a high level was detrimental to the offense. He was able to catch three passes for 40 yards but not having him at full strength definitely hurts their big-play abilities.

Jefferson recorded eight catches for 116 yards, which both led the Vikings. At 7-8, Minnesota may need to take Jefferson's advice if they want to secure a playoff bid.
