Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer knows how to live with his in-game decisions regardless of the outcome. It was evident in their tight Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in which the outcome could've been altered by a play or two.

The tactician decided to gamble on a 4th and one snap instead of attempting a field goal for a higher percentage of earning extra points in crunch time. His team eventually lost on a heart-stopping 27-26 loss to the still-undefeated Seahawks.

ESPN's Courtney Cronin quoted Zimmer on his reaction to the result of his late-game decision via Twitter:

The game eventually ended on a zipper-line pass by Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson to sophomore receiver DK Metcalf to overtake the Vikings with seconds remaining in crunch time.

The NFL MVP front runner delivered another masterclass performance and completed 20 of 32 passes on 217 passing yards along with three touchdowns and an interception for the Seahawks.

Minnesota's own gunslinger in Kirk Cousins generated 249 passing yards on a 27/39 clip and two passing touchdowns while also having an interception and three sacks in the loss.

Sophomore running back Alexander Mattison broke out with 112 rushing yards on 20 carries while veteran wideout Adam Thielen contributed 80 receiving yards on nine receptions and two scored touchdowns for the Vikings.

Their collaborative efforts went down the drain once again as the Purple and Gold lost their fourth game in five outings. The team now sits in third place of the NFC North division with a 1-4 record.

Zimmer and the rest of the Vikings will aim to finally add another win to their tally in their next game against the winless Atlanta Falcons in Week 6 proceedings.
