Kirk Cousins has been criticized for his performances in big games but he delivered when it mattered most for the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings' quarterback found Kyle Rudolph for the game-winning overtime touchdown to defeat the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints decided to play man-coverage across the board and Cousins knew it before he took the snap. Once he got the ball in his hands, Kirk Cousins gave Rudolph a chance to make a play over the defender that was covering him.

The veteran tight end made a spectacular grab and was able to get his feet down in bounds. Before making the touchdown catch, Rudolph only had three receptions for 27 yards.

Above all, Kirk Cousins seemed to have squashed the narrative that he can't perform well in the clutch moments—at least for another week. With Rudolph's crucial touchdown, the Vikings will travel to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional Round.
