Kevin Durant could leave the Golden State Warriors this summer if he wanted to.

But his general manager, Bob Myers, doesn't think it's happening.

Via Melissa Rohlin of Bay Area News Group:

“Maybe I’m naïve but I never felt like he was leaving,” Myers said.

That's probably how most people feel about KD who would shock the world for the second time in three years if he decided to bolt from the Dubs.

Although the thought has been one that some people have floated out there, including NBA legend Tracy McGrady, who suggested that Durant's two titles in two seasons with the Warriors has earned the respect of everyone and opened up his chance to go somewhere else and try to lead a team to a title himself.

Besides hearsay such as that, there has been nothing solid to suggest that Durant is even considering the move. The most controversial thing he has said about his future is that he thinks he could retire in five years at the age of 35.

Free agency is just a few weeks away and as the rumors pick up steam and more pieces fall into place, maybe KD leaving will become a real possibility. But your best bet is to guess he stays with the Dubs and goes for a three-peat next season.
