Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green admits the series against the Houston Rockets isn't easy to officiate for refs.

Green says Rockets guards James Harden and Chris Paul, along with his teammate — Warriors star Kevin Durant — are difficult players to officiate.

“In their defense, this ain’t an easy series,” Green told Marc J. Spears of the Undefeated. “James Harden is not easy to officiate. Chris Paul isn’t easy to officiate. Kevin Durant is not easy to officiate.

“If I wanted to bitch, I’d be bitching all day. It’s a complete waste of time. It’s a complete waste of energy. And that is what my mom has been stressing to me: ‘Lock in. Focus on what you have to do. Forget the refs. Forget everything else and focus on what you need to do. Everything else will take care of itself.’

“I’ve been just really focusing on that and making it a point of emphasis to not focus on the wrong shit.”

Harden is probably the most difficult player to officiate in the NBA right now. Both the Warriors and Rockets have been complaining all series to the refs. At some point, players on both sides have to stop and just focus on the game itself.

Game 5 of this series is on Wednesday at Oracle Arena. Green and the Warriors are looking to snap a two-game losing streak and take a 3-2 lead in the series.
