The Golden State Warriors are desperately in need of a win in Game 2 of the NBA Finals. They trail the Boston Celtics 1-0 in the series after dropping Game 1, 120-108. Thus far in Game 2, things have been very physical from both teams. You can tell that neither team is backing down and want this game.

Late in the first half, Warriors star forward Draymond Green fouled Jaylen Brown attempting a three-pointer. The two were tangled up on the ground after the play, causing the two to go face-to-face.

As Green landed over Brown, his leg was draped over his shoulder and up near his face. Brown took offense to that, clearly. The two players had to be separated after having words.

The referees would review the play to determine if any technical fouls should be called. Good thing for the Warriors they declined to do that.

Earlier in the ball game, Green and Celtics back up forward Grant Williams got into it a bit. Williams was initially called for a foul but after the physicality continued, the refs slapped a technical foul on Green. Two technical fouls and a player is ejected from the game.

More than likely, the referees took that into consideration when deciding not to call double technicals on Green and Brown.

The Warriors took a 52-50 lead into halftime of a must-win Game 2. Golden State is led by Stephen Curry with 15 points. Boston has countered with 21 points from Jayson Tatum.

Golden State then came out firing early in the third quarter and lead 59-52 as of this writing. The Warriors look to even the series as the teams will head to Boston for Game 3 Wednesday.
