Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ruled out of Friday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area.

This is not Green's first encounter with a foot injury. Unable to play a majority of the 2019-20 season due to a foot ailment, Green has been sidelined while watching his team struggle to return to their former glory.

A three-time NBA champion and 2017 Defensive Player of the Year, Green has been unable to help the Warriors get back on track due to his constant battle with injuries. Although it has been reported that Green will potentially miss the next couple of games, Golden State fans have already seen a season without Green and Stephen Curry leading the Warriors to victory, as the team finished last in the Western Conference with a record of 15-50 and no invitation to Orlando.

Now with Curry healthy and ready to play, a Warriors team without Green could prove to be costly. Known for his strong defensive abilities and energy that he brings to the court, averaging a well-rounded 9.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game in his career, his two-way playing capabilities proved to be key in the Warriors' championship runs.

However, the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, James Wiseman may be the solution until Green returns to the floor. A versatile big man out of Memphis has the potential to provide the energy that would be missing without Green on the floor, as he scored 19 points and grabbed six boards in his professional debut against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.
