It was an eventful night to say the least during the showdown between the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans. This game had it all in terms of entertainment thanks to the physical play and endless trash talk that occurred.

Before its grand ending, there were several signs that things were going to eventually boil over. One of them being this altercation between superstar big men Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins down the stretch via 16 Wins A Ring:

While it is unknown what exactly was said, “Boogie” clearly took issue with veteran power forward David West seemingly shoving teammate Jameer Nelson off to the side. Green happened to get caught in the crossfire between Cousins and West, however, that did not stop him from taking issue with the contact.

Both Green and Cousins are notorious for throwing their weight around and the court. Not only are they extremely physical, but each player is also accustomed to using trash talk to help them rattle opponents. That said, it was only a matter of time before the two would eventually clash.

Cousins was later ejected following another heated confrontation with superstar forward Kevin Durant, who had also been thrown out. However, the Warriors ultimately got the last laugh with the 125-115 victory.
