Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green never uttered an opinion he didn't like. That's what makes him one of the most interesting players in recent NBA history.

Green's perpetually running mouth has gotten him into trouble many times in the past. And with his latest posts on Twitter, it's safe to assume the Warriors star will receive strong comments from his fellow athletes. Because basically, Green admitted that athletes are, um, just read it for yourself.

“My hope is that one day, athletes stop fighting the (argument that) athletes are dumb. We actually are. We are the CEOs of a business. Yet 90% doesn’t understand the business. But have the nerve to get mad when someone says athletes are dumb.”

Yep, he went there.

Green, however, probably sensing that the people might think that he's lumping everyone (including his Warriors teammates), made a quick clarification.

The 31-year-old Green has always been an articulate guy. He can speak his mind and he's not afraid to do so. He's not terrified to push some buttons as well, making him a great source for finding out the perspective of NBA players on many issues.

Green is still out of commission for the 42-17 Warriors with his back injury. While his return is still without a timetable, the four-time All-Star said he's feeling good and is making good progress.

In the meantime, he will cheer for the Warriors and of course, call out guys who are, um, what's the opposite of not dumb?
